Dr. Prof. Park Jae Woo Wiki

Dr. Prof. Park Jae Woo (11 March 1942 - 25 March 2010) was a South Korean founder, teacher, and author associated with Sujok Therapy and Triorigin Science. He founded Sujok Therapy, a hand-and-foot based correspondence system named from the Korean words for hand and foot.[1] [6] [7]

Professor Park graduated from Seoul National University in 1968 and later developed a large body of teaching around correspondence systems, Byol meridians, Six Ki, Onnuri methods, Sujok Ki, Twist Therapy, Smile Yoga, Smile Meditation, and Triorigin theory.[1] [3] His collected output includes 248 books and 455 articles.[1]

Early Life And Education

Professor Park Jae Woo was born on 11 March 1942 in South Korea.[1] [2] [4]

He graduated from Seoul National University in 1968.[1] His later work drew on acupuncture, natural healing, philosophy, metaphysics, and systems of correspondence between the body and its parts.

Development Of Sujok Therapy

Sujok Therapy is based on correspondence between the human body and areas of the hands and feet.[7] Professor Park's retrospective chronology includes an intuition in 1953 that connected the thumb with the head, a more developed hand-body correspondence idea by 1974, conception of the therapeutic system in 1984-1985, and formal public presentation in 1987.[3]

The first public materials included the Su Jok 14 Byol Meridian Chart in October 1987 and the Su Jok Constitution Chart in December 1987. Early works included Su Jok (Hand & Foot) Acupuncture, M Particle Theory, and later expanded manuals.[3]

The therapy's name combines the Korean words Su for hand and Jok for foot.[6]

International Teaching And Institutions

Professor Park founded or led several Sujok-related organizations, including the Korean Institute for Sujok Acupuncture, International Sujok Therapy Association, Sujok Academy of Moscow, ONNURI Public Fund, Cyprus Sujok Center, and Onnuri College in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He was also honorary president of the Sujok Academy of India at Chennai.[1]

His academic and teaching affiliations included Sujok Academy of India in 1992, Kazakhstan State Medical University for Post-Graduate Studies in 1994, Belarus Sujok Acupuncture Institute in 1995, St. Petersburg Physical Culture University in 1996, Munich Science Academy in 1997, and Moscow State Medical University in 1999.[1]

Professor Park founded the International Sujok Association in 2009. After his passing, the association continued under the leadership of his sons and pupils.[1] [10]

Triorigin And Later Work

Professor Park's later teaching moved beyond basic hand-foot correspondence into larger theoretical and philosophical systems. Triorigin Theory uses the terms Neuto, Hetero, Homo, and Neutro to describe a fundamental order behind existence and function.[8] Triorigin World became a major synthesis of Professor Park's worldview, bringing together Triorigin, energy theory, correspondence systems, and Smile Meditation.[3]

His later works include titles on Triorigin Smile Meditation, Triorigin Smile Taiji, Smile Yoga, Triorigin Acupuncture, Sujok Ki, Triorigin Direction Therapy, Twist Therapy, Sam Won Dong, and related movement or meditation practices.[1] [3] [9]Professor Park's public teaching expanded from practical point-based therapy into movement, meditation, and metaphysical philosophy.

Passing And Legacy

Professor Park Jae Woo passed away in Moscow on 25 March 2010.[1] [2] [4] On the second anniversary of his passing in 2012, Saurashtra University in Rajkot, Gujarat honored his memory by establishing the Prof. Park Chair and Prof. Park Gallery.[1] Saurashtra University's current chairs listing includes Prof. Park, Jae Woo's Chair.[5]

His work continued through family and international association leadership, including his sons Dr. Park Minchul and Dr. Park Minkyu.[1] [10]
